Carousel achieves highest security standard with ISO27001 accreditation
Carousel Logistics (part of the DANX Carousel Group) has announced that it has been awarded the ISO27001 (Information Security) certification following a successful audit in April.
The accreditation verifies that the European critical service logistics provider has met and exceeded the highest levels of internal compliance and information security standards.
The ISO27001 standard is a globally-recognised accreditation that assesses the confidentiality, integrity, management and availability of information within an organisation. To achieve, Carousel was audited by a team of independent assessors who evaluated all IT systems, plus a wide range of cross-departmental security policies and processes. The accreditation reinforces Carousel’s commitment to operational excellence, providing clients with the highest level of confidence about the management of their data.
Andy Clarke, Group Transformation Director at the DANX Carousel Group, said: “We are so proud to have earned the world’s leading security certification, ISO270001. The security of the data we hold is one of our highest priorities, so achieving this is a huge milestone. As well as increased security and system reliability, our clients will also benefit from increased business resilience, enhanced management processes and risk management, plus legal and regulatory compliance.”
Carousel delivers spare parts and products with a high cost of failure for performance and life-critical industries, across Europe, every day. Its extensive European air and road network looks to address a world of logistics constrained by inflexible services, and is underpinned by its proprietary digital platform, Gateway®.
